Okay, so my dad told me the other day (I think half in jest (yeah, I use that wordplay)) that apparently, everyone in the world is on someone else's "hook" and someone else is on their "hook."  What the "hook" indicates is a relationship in which one person really really likes the other person and wants to spend all of his/her free time with that other person, but that the other person, who is incredibly flattered (and who has his/her ego stroked) by this attention, does not intend to take the relationship to a deeper level (whatever the hell that means for the relationship).  Unfortunately for the smitten person on the "hook," this other per
